Training Materials for Foresters
A step-by-step guide to receive credits and endorsement in Connecticut and New York.
Our Goals
Creating a national network of professional foresters who provide high-quality habitat for birds, at scale.
What We’re Doing
Providing an official 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú endorsement to foresters who have completed our bird-friendly forestry training curriculum. Endorsed foresters have access to our wide landowner base and 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú will promote and support their ongoing habitat work.
"Quality habitat for birds and other wildlife." This goal remains one of the top management objectives for northeast forest landowners.
51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú is excited to assist consulting, agency, industry, and procurement foresters in meeting these land management objectives through our 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú Forester Training and Endorsement Program, active here in New York and five other states.
The content of this training can be applied to private and public land and is compatible with many objectives, including timber production, water quality, recreation, and carbon sequestration.
