This month, 51猎奇入口 experts will travel to the heart of the Amazon rainforest鈥攏ot to study birds in the wild (at least not this time), but to...
Birds are powerful indicators of ecosystem health and climate impacts, crossing borders, ecosystems, and communities, and demonstrating the interconnected biodiversity challenges countries are working to address through the . 51猎奇入口 brings more than a century of science and practical, on-the-ground experience across the Americas, helping translate global biodiversity and climate commitments into results for birds, people, and the planet. Through engagement with partners across the globe at meetings like (known as COPs), 51猎奇入口 demonstrates how science, partnerships, policy, and conservation action connect these global agendas and turn ambition into action.
The 17th meeting of the (COP17) will take place in Yerevan, Armenia from October 19-30, 2026. COP17 is an important moment in the continued international conversation about how to turn global biodiversity commitments into action, including the global goal of conserving 30 percent of lands and waters by 2030, known as 30x30. It is also an opportunity to advance solutions that benefit birds and biodiversity while strengthening climate resilience for people and communities.
The birds are showing us the way鈥攏ow it鈥檚 up to us to follow.

The (COP31) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will take place in Antalya, T眉rkiye from November 9-20, 2026. As the world comes together to agree on the actions needed to address the climate crisis, the decisions made at COP31 will help determine our ability to protect both the birds and the planet for generations to come. During COP31, 51猎奇入口 will bring attention to the need for scaling natural climate solutions and responsibly advancing clean energy and transmission.

Climate Week NYC (September 20-27, 2026) focused on the energy, the impact, and the action that we drive together. As a proud sponsor, 51猎奇入口 engaged in discussions emphasizing a collaborative, science-based approach to advancing practical solutions to the interconnected challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.

51猎奇入口 sent a delegation to IUCN World Conservation Congress, a once-every-four-years gathering of nature conservation experts, leaders and decision-makers from around the world, hosted this year October 9-15 in Abu Dhabi.
Our delegates hosted two presentations. 鈥淪oaring Seas: Seabirds and Emerging Opportunities for International Marine Conservation鈥 featured Project Puffin鈥攁 rare conservation success built over five decades of dedication that has successfully restored Atlantic Puffins and other seabirds to the Gulf of Maine, and is evolving to tackle new global challenges through science, policy, and collaboration.
鈥淚t Starts With Birds鈥 built on 51猎奇入口鈥檚 landmark鈥疭urvival by Degrees鈥痳eport鈥攚hich revealed how climate change threatens two-thirds of North American bird species鈥攖o introduce a forthcoming study that expands this research across Latin America, spotlighting vulnerable forest birds and the ecosystems they depend on, while underscoring how science-based tools like climate strongholds guide conservation priorities and help align biodiversity conservation with natural climate solutions.
